Aura Milestone 1 RELEASED!
Happy new year and hope your holiday season was well. We have some good news.. Aura Desktop Milestone 1 has been released on the Finn Technologies website (Via Links) as a public test release. Now originally this was designed for developers only but we needed to get this CD out there!.

What's New?
The development of the M1 CD is actually Quite old dating back to mid last year and we actually stopped working on this build a few months ago. it is a fairly stable release but with much more development needed. There are a few programs from Ozone GUI still bundled in with the M1 CD but these will be removed in M2 with new replacements. The new Aura desktop and a few more features are in this release.

Aura Distribution and Doscore??
The CD released from the Finn Technologies website is not made by Doscore. Although we develop the GUI together Finn technologies has a few extra features on their own developed CD and so does the Doscore Distribution. So you can Expect that i will post the Doscore Distribution Infinity Very soon within the next few days.

Welcome Infinity New Release!

After many months we haven't posted anything about Doscore or Aura on this web site or the Finn Technologies website we have been quietly working on the next distribution codenamed "Infinity" and build series number 1080dx. This will be the first public release of our latest desktop "Aura" Developed by Finn Technologies and Doscore.

One of the things we wanted to bring to this version is the support of launching DOS applications from the menu. Both of the Gui's Ozone and Seal v3 could run dos applications from the "Nav" but not from the menu so we have incorporated this into the Aura Desktop. Another feature we wanted to bring was the ability to launch Packet drivers and other drivers from Aura. With the support of running .com and .exe files we will now be able to do this. We have been working on making Infinity a LiveCD with networking support and we did plan on using Arachne (as a temporary solution) to enable web surfing but instead people may have to wait for Orchid (Aura web Browser) to be released.

Desktop icons was also another thing we have been asked by a few testers. While this version may not yet feature the use of desktop icons we ensure you that we are planning on this in future releases.

More updates and info about Infinity coming soon. you can expect to see a few more news reports in the coming weeks.
