was very basic.

Ozone gui 0.5.5.0 2007

Florian Xavier took over the programing of ozone gui and started to update the gui and make changes to the kernel. this was his first public release.

This live CD also featured a dos based menu that would allow you to run networking hardware aswell as dos applications.

Seal v3
the first release of any gui under the name sea in a long time.

we wanted to bring back the glory days of seal gui but later decided to ditch this effort.

this was actually part of the Knievel series of doscore distro's but i havnt featured it here as knievel was a freedos based update not gui.

Seal v3 release 2
the 2nd release of any gui under the name seal in a long time.

we wanted to bring back the glory days of seal gui but later decided to ditch this effort.

Aura OS (halo)
the first release of

the new desktop aura which was being developed along side seal v3 and ozone.

at this point chase finn took over development of the ozone gui code base. unsure of how we wanted this project to go we tried many new GUI layouts.

Aura OS
Release 2

the new desktop aura which was being developed along side seal v3 and ozone.

at this point chase finn took over development of the ozone gui code base. unsure of how we wanted this project to go we tried many new GUI layouts.

Aura
Release 3

at this point the desktop started to shape up and themes were developed to run with the new desktop.

We decided that Aura would not be its own OS at this point and time and would serve as our gui for the freedos distribution.

Aura M1
Release 4

we finally had a killer theme (at the time) and had some pretty tidy code as we started to wean out the ozone gui code and make our own code.

Aura M1 received mixed reviews, comments and scrutiny for being to ambitious.

Aura Infinity
Release 5

Although we had plan to release the infinity series we decided against it. we wanted the next release of Aura to feature more then a new theme and skin and minor changes to the kernel so we stuck into getting doscore online and running straight from a live cd ready togo with dos based internet browsers.

Aura netdock
Release 6

After release 5 we wanted to move away from using dos based web browsing and wanted to start concentrating on internal applications that can access the web.. so we had to make the networking more portable than wanting users to provide drivers etc...
Aura i007
Release 7
 theme scraped.
Was only a development build and the first in the series of the netdock development.

Also incorporated networking and file sharing in early stages

Aura Netdock i007
